Job description

We have an opening for a Fire Protection Engineer in Raleigh-Durham, NC. This role can also be based in Charleston, SC.

Required:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Fire Protection Engineering
2. EIT preferred, but not required
3. 3+ years of experience in the consulting business, including water-based extinguishing systems, fire alarm and mass notification, smoke control, and special hazards systems
4. Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit
5. Strong technical foundation with a desire to learn, lead, and advance into Senior Engineer and Project Management roles
6. Design of fire suppression and fire alarm systems
7. Preparation of 2D and 3D construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit
8. Coordinate design efforts with in-house disciplines, architectural clients, and building owners
