1st Select Ltd is seeking an experienced Fire Protection Engineer for our Austin team. You will work across a diverse range of projects including sprinkler and fire alarm design, performance-based fire engineering, and technical reporting.

The role emphasizes project management, client engagement, and coherent documentation, with opportunities for growth and professional development in a growing consultancy.

Qualifications

3–6 years’ experience in Fire Protection Engineering.
Degree in Fire Protection, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Civil Engineering.
EIT preferred, with a pathway towards PE.
PE considered an advantage.
Experience with AutoCAD and Bluebeam.
Revit experience beneficial.
Ability to manage projects and work independently.
Strong technical and communication skills.

I’m currently working with a growing Fire Protection and Life Safety consultancy that is looking to add an experienced Fire Protection Engineer to its Austin team.

The role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse range of projects, including:

Fire & Life Safety Engineering
Sprinkler and Fire Alarm Design
Performance-Based Fire Engineering
Code Reviews and Site Assessments
Technical Reports and Engineering Documentation
Project Management and Client Engagement

Looking for:

3–6 years’ experience in Fire Protection Engineering
Degree in Fire Protection, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Civil Engineering
