Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Engineering Intern in Columbus, OH to apply standard engineering techniques, assist lead engineers, and contribute to project tasks across Global Facilities.

Candidates should be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fire Protection Engineering or a related field, with ABET accreditation strongly preferred and a minimum 3.0 GPA. Prior internship or related consulting experience is encouraged, along with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's in Fire Protection Engineering or related field.
• ABET accreditation strongly preferred.
• Currently enrolled in post-secondary education related to the department work.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
• Prior internship or related consulting experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply standard engineering techniques to design and update engineering systems.
• Assist lead engineers with project duties and tasks.
• Support various project activities across markets, including Global Facilities.
