Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Engineering Intern in Minneapolis/St Paul, MN, to support standard engineering tasks, assist lead engineers, and update designs. The role spans Aviation & Federal market segments with diverse project duties and responsibilities.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Fire Protection Engineering or related field, with ABET preference, good academic standing, and strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Fire Protection Engineering or related field.
• ABET accreditation strongly preferred.
• Currently enrolled and in good standing in a related program.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
• Prior internship or related consulting experience preferred.
• Active involvement in campus or community activities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn with leadership demonstrated.
• Authorized to work in the United States without future sponsorship.
