TP Mechanical is seeking a mid-level Fire Protection Designer II to design and develop fire protection systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional construction projects. Qualifications

• 3–5 years of fire protection design experience.
• NICET II/State certification required.
• OSHA 10-hour certification required.

Responsibilities

• Designs fire protection systems using architectural dimensions and structural background. Coordinates and communicates issues.
• Performs hydraulic calculations as required.
• Completes stock listing for fabrication shop as required.
• Reviews all design drawings in detail before fabrication.
• Creates design drawing schedules for permit and fabrication.
