Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Fire Project Specialist to lead on-site project delivery for specified customers and projects. You will coordinate teams across QA, Engineering, and Validation, ensuring contract adherence, safety, and project success.

Responsibilities include managing costs, scheduling, and procurement, while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders and delivering high-quality documentation and closeout packages.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two-year business or construction management degree, or applicable on-the-job experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to convey technical material to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and complete assigned projects, including installation coordination and project closeout.
• Manage overall project financial results, including costs, billings, collections, and gross margin performance.
• Pursue change orders and evaluate the impact of scope changes, directives, and scheduling revisions.
• Coordinate communication with customer representatives across QA, Engineering, Validation, and related departments.
• Support procurement of project materials and scheduling.
• Review validation documents and ensure accuracy before customer submittal.
• Track progress and keep stakeholders informed on status, risks, and forecasts.
