Job summary

The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services’ Tulsa Center for Behavioral Health (TCBH) is hiring Fire Prevention/Security Officer I or II to patrol facilities, inspect for fire hazards, enforce laws, and assist staff and visitors while protecting state property. Open to Officer I or II; II requires two years of security or fire prevention experience, I requires none.

Shift: 11:30pm–8:00am; non‑exempt, full‑time, with benefits.

Qualifications

• Officer II requires two years of security or fire prevention experience.
• Officer I requires no formal education or experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and patrol buildings and grounds to eliminate fire hazards.
• Enforce laws, rules and regulations while protecting state property.
• Provide assistance to employees or visitors and support security operations.
