Job summary

V2X seeks a seasoned fire services leader to oversee day-to-day operations and training for the Fire Services Support Department. The role ensures compliance with DoD fire and EMS programs, certification tracking, and incident response coordination with the Fire Chief.

The ideal candidate has multiple fire service certifications, NIMS, EMS, CPR, and security clearance requirements, and will drive safety and operational excellence across all facilities and personnel.

Qualifications

• Must hold Fire Officer III, Fire Instructor II, Fire Inspector II, and Hazmat Incident Commander certifications.
• Training must be accredited by IFSAC or NPQS.
• Must have NIMS 100, 200, 300, 400, 700, and 800.
• Must have current National Registry Emergency Medical Technician.
• Current CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Must pass and maintain entry-level physical examination per NFPA 1582.
• Must have a valid U.S. Passport and Driver’s License (manual transmission).
• Must have and maintain a valid U.S. SECRET Security Clearance prior to deployment.
• Must pass employment and deployment qualification requirements including background checks.

Responsibilities

• Guide and coordinate fire protection functions for efficient operations.
• Respond to emergency calls and investigate fires.
• Train personnel and ensure certifications per DoD/FES programs.
• Maintain records, reports, and compliance with AF EMSTP and AFI 32-2001.
• Uphold company standards and lead by example for firefighters and support staff.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and proper use of government and contract property.
• Ensure accurate timekeeping and labor reporting.
