Job description

The City of Clintonville is currently accepting applications for both Full Time and Paid-On-Call positions as a Fire Medic.This position is primarily responsible for the technical work in operating and providing patient care for the City's emergency medical transport services operated by the Fire Department.

This position requires no less than two years of experience, two years of which must have been in emergency medical care.

A vocational degree in the field of Emergency Medical Technician is a minimum requirement, but an associate degree in a related field may substitute for two years of required experience.Significant additional years of directly related experience or higher level of Licensure including Advanced EMT or Paramedic is a strong preference.

While not required, candidates with firefighting experience and/or that live within a 15-mile radius of the City of Clintonville will be given greater consideration due to the nature of emergency back-up response and the nature of working within the Paid-On-Call Fire Department.

Starting annual salary will be $55,000 - $70,0000 depending on qualifications.
