Metro Paramedic Services, Inc. is seeking a part-time Paramedic/Firefighter for the Darien Fire/EMS Department, Sharon Fire & Rescue and Walworth Fire & Rescue contracts in Wisconsin.

The role involves delivering emergency medical care and transportation to patients at the EMT level within the required scope of practice. Qualified candidates must hold a Paramedic license, a Wisconsin Firefighter I Certificate, CPR certification, and a valid Wisconsin driver’s license, with ACLS or PALS

Qualifications

• Paramedic License or higher is required
• Wisconsin Firefighter I Certificate is required or preferred
• 1 year EMS experience
• CPR certification is required
• 21+ years old and valid Wisconsin driver’s license
• ACLS/PALS preferred with Metro training
• Background check, drug screen, and pre-employment physical are required

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care and transportation for patients at the EMT/paramedic level within their scope of practice as defined by Wisconsin DHS

Metro Paramedic Services, Inc. is a subsidiary of Superior Air-Ground Ambulance Services, Inc. We contract with local municipalities to provide Emergency Medical Services, Rescue and/or Fire Services. We are currently seeking a part-time Paramedic/Firefighter for our Darien Fire/EMS Department, Sharon Fire & Rescue and Walworth Fire & Rescue contract.

The basic function of the Paramedic/Firefighter to provide medical care and transportation for a patient at the EMT level, within their scope of practice, as stipulated by Wisconsin Department of Health Services.

Paramedic/Firefighter Qualifications:

• Paramedic License
• Wisconsin Firefighter I Certificate
• 1 year experience
• CPR Certified
• 21 Years of age
• Valid Wisconsin Driver's License
• ACLS preferred (Metro will train)
• PALS preferred (Metro will train)
• Successfully completion of pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check
