Qualifications

• Must hold an AEMT License (Paramedic preferred).
• Certification as a Wisconsin Firefighter is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is essential.
• CPR Certification must be current.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid Wisconsin Driver's License.
• ACLS and PALS Training will be provided by Metro.
• Successful completion of pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care and transport patients at the AEMT/Firefighter level.
• Perform duties as dictated by Wisconsin Department of Health Services.

Metro Paramedic Services, Inc. contracts with local municipalities to provide Emergency Medical Services, Rescue and/or Fire Services. Much of our proven success is attributable to the exceptional, compassionate customer service provided by our employees.

We are currently seeking an AEMT/Firefighter for our Bloomfield-Genoa contract. Base annual starting pay is $61,235The basic function of the AEMT/Firefighter is to provide medical care and transportation for a patient at the AEMT/Firefighter level, within their scope of practice, as stipulated by Wisconsin Department of Health Services.

Qualifications

AEMT/Firefighter Qualifications:

• AEMT License (Paramedic preferred)
• Wisconsin Firefighter Certification
• 1 year experience
• CPR Certified
• 21 Years of age
• Valid Wisconsin Driver's License
• ACLS (Metro will train)
• PALS (Metro will train)
• Successfully completion of pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check
