Sciens Building Solutions is seeking an experienced Fire Service Technician with programming, troubleshooting, and repair capabilities to work with our service team and clients. This role focuses on maintaining life safety systems to ensure performance and reliability.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in the Fire Life and Safety field, knowledge of NFPA 72, and the ability to read design drawings; OSHA 10 and NICET certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of experience in repair or systems technician role in Fire Life and Safety.
• Knowledge of current fire alarm systems, including NFPA 72.
• Ability to program and repair fire alarm systems using a laptop.
• Ability to read fire system design drawings.
• Familiarity with NFPA standards and electrical code.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot and repair Fire and Life Safety systems.
• Use testing tools to analyze systems and detect fault conditions.
• Ensure maximum detection and alarm coverage when repairing.
• Produce repair reports for customer acceptance and billing.
• Program and configure systems via laptop computers.
• Ensure Fire Alarm circuit integrity.
• Assist in managing vehicle inventory and repair tools.
• Provide support to other technicians.
