Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Vocational Training.
• 3+ years of experience.
• Mastery knowledge of troubleshooting commercial intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, intercom access control systems.
• Working knowledge of local/national codes.
• Ability to read plans and install panels, boxes and wiring.
• Knowledge of OSHA, HAZCOM and national electronic codes.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to clear a drug screen.
• Ability to read and interpret English.

Responsibilities

• Services, troubleshoots and repairs low voltage panels, wiring and devices.
• Provides reliable, high quality customer support.
• Provides customer instruction on system operation and functionality.
• Performs system testing and signal verification.
• Maintains truck stock/inventory (equipment and tools).
• Organizes and utilizes technical resources to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Ensures progress and completion of assigned tasks.
• Documents service hours and tasks performed.
• Completes required task-related activities and reports timely.
• Demonstrates strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Education

High School Diploma/Vocational Training

NICET Level I Certification (fire alarm systems)

NICET Level II Certification within 1 year
