Job summary

Everon in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to service, troubleshoot and repair panels, wiring and devices. You will handle more complex issues and may perform some programming.

Candidates should have at least a high school diploma or vocational training, 3+ years of experience, and NICET certification requirements. The role requires reading blueprints, OSHA/HAZCOM knowledge, and a valid driver's license with on-call availability.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or vocational training.
3+ years of experience.
Mastery knowledge of troubleshooting commercial intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, intercom access control systems.
Working knowledge of local/national codes.
Able to read plans and install panels, boxes and wiring.
OSHA/HAZCOM knowledge and codes.
Valid driver’s license and ability to clear a drug screening.
Able to read and interpret English drawings and documents.

Responsibilities

Services, troubleshoots and repairs low voltage panels, wiring and devices.
Provides reliable, high quality customer support.
Provides customer instruction on system operation and functionality.
Performs system testing and signal verification.
Maintains truck stock/inventory of equipment and tools.
Organizes and utilizes technical resources and information to complete tasks efficiently.
Ensures progress and completion of assigned tasks.
Documents service hours and tasks.
Completes required task-related activities and documentation promptly.
Exhibits a strong work ethic.
Is detail-oriented.
Completes other projects as assigned.
