Job summary

Everon in Addison, IL is seeking a service technician to service, troubleshoot and repair low voltage panels, wiring and devices. You will support on-site installations and assist senior techs on complex issues while ensuring high-quality customer service.

You should have at least a high school diploma and 1+ years of experience, with working knowledge of fire alarm, CCTV and access control systems. Valid driver's license and ability to travel on short notice are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma/Vocational Training.
• 1+ years of experience in related field required.
• Knowledge of enterprise intrusion, fire, CCTV and access control systems.
• Read drawings and pull wires accordingly.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to clear a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Services, troubleshoots and repairs low voltage panels, wiring and devices.
• Provides reliable, high quality customer support.
• Provides customer instruction on system operation and functionality.
• Performs system testing and signal verification.
• Maintains truck stock/inventory of equipment and tools.
• Organizes resources to ensure efficient task execution.
• Ensures progress and completion of tasks.
• Documents service hours and activities in a timely manner.
