Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Fresno, CA is seeking a Fire/Life Safety Solutions Sales Executive to drive bookings and profit within the commercial Smart Buildings team. You will grow the territory by cultivating relationships with contractors, consultants, authorities having jurisdiction, developers, and end-users.

Responsibilities include developing market plans, maintaining a healthy sales funnel, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering sophisticated, value-based proposals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or state-recognized GED.
• Experience in end-to-end sales, business development, or consulting in commercial fire alarm/life safety.
• NICET Level I Fire Alarm Certification - certificate testing within 2 years.
• Ability to estimate and sell technical solutions and service lines independently.
• Fluent English verbal and written communication.
• Experience using Microsoft Office suite.
• Must be 21+ with valid driver's license and eligibility for Siemens' fleet vehicle program.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Understand market, competitors, customers and decision influencers across the region and stay updated on industry trends.
• Develop a vertical market and account management plan for strategic growth.
• Maintain a qualified funnel of opportunities and achieve new orders and profits.
• Collaborate with operations and internal teams for excellent customer outcomes.
• Attend industry networking events and participate in professional organizations.
• Influence new construction specifications by engaging engineers and architects.
• Document customer goals and success metrics with multiple levels of the customer organization.
• Perform site surveys to support multi-offering estimates and proposals.
• Develop value-based proposals and coordinate with internal resources to close sales.
• Ensure smooth sales-to-operations turnover and high customer satisfaction.
