Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. seeks an experienced Service Manager to oversee daily operations of our Fire and Life Safety service division.

You will manage field support teams, coordinating inspection, testing, maintenance, service, repair, and projects to meet safety and client expectations. The role emphasizes leadership, budget and schedule governance, compliance with NFPA standards, and strong communication across field, sales, and program management to drive efficiency and customer

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a management or operations role within the Fire and Life Safety industry.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and coordinate large-scale service operations.
• Strong understanding of Fire and Life Safety Systems (fire alarm, sprinkler, suppression).
• Working knowledge of NFPA standards (NFPA 25, 72, and 20) and applicable building/fire codes.
• Demonstrated experience managing budgets, schedules, and operational performance.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• NICET Level II in Fire Alarm Systems (minimum required).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide leadership to field technicians.
• Foster accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement across the service team.
• Serve as a liaison between the field, sales, and program management teams to ensure smooth coordination and communication.
• Oversee scheduling, dispatch, and workflow management, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
• Monitor project timelines, backlog, and deliverables to maintain on-time performance and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and customer specifications for all Fire and Life Safety Systems.
• Coordinate and monitor field productivity, quality control, and safety compliance.
