Job summary

AMPAM is seeking a Sales Representative to grow its Low Voltage Division in San Diego County. You will sell fire life safety, access control, camera, and remote monitoring systems to existing customers and new prospects, with a focus on multifamily properties.

This hunter/farmer role requires building on AMPAM's current base while expanding new accounts. You will identify project opportunities, maintain relationships with property managers and owners, and promote maintenance contracts across

Qualifications

• Prior sales experience in fire life safety or related building systems.
• Ideally 5+ years of sales experience.
• Familiarity with Edwards EST4 is a plus.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Sell Low Voltage goods and services to AMPAM's existing customer base and to newly developed accounts across San Diego County.
• Identify and pursue opportunities in Fire life safety systems, Test and inspect services, Remote monitoring, Access control and camera systems, Audio visual systems for multifamily properties.
• Identify and sell project opportunities including tenant improvements, relocation of fire alarm panels and detectors, and related system upgrades.
• Sell maintenance contracts, including test and inspect and fire life safety maintenance agreements, starting with Edwards EST4.
• Identify and sell remote monitoring contracts to existing and prospective customers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with property managers, owners, and other multifamily decision-makers.
• Learn AMPAM's full service portfolio to educate customers on cross-sell opportunities.
• Partner with operations and technical teams to ensure proposals are scoped and deliverable.
• Maintain records of sales activity, pipeline, and customer interactions using CRM tools.
• Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and growth objectives for the Low Voltage Division.
