Job summary

Summit Fire & Security, a leading fire protection company, seeks a Fire Life Safety Sales Executive in Tulsa to prospect and develop new customers, upsell existing clients, and negotiate pricing for inspection contracts.

You will work closely with the Regional Sales Manager and Service teams to build a strong pipeline, manage proposals, and extend our service offerings while staying aligned with local fire code requirements.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years sales or fire protection industry experience.
• 2 years reading electronic blueprints, and experience with SalesForce, preferred.
• 2 years operating a computer, Microsoft Office, required.

Responsibilities

• Pro-actively engage in making sales calls to new prospective customers to build the Inspection and Service business.
• Pro-actively engage in making sales calls to current customers to build the Inspection and Service business by expanding our service offering to existing customers (upsell).
• Remain informed of all conversion opportunities by turning installation customers into service customers.
• Create and maintain a sufficient pipeline of activity that will ensure meeting sales plan/goals assigned by understanding that success is a byproduct of generating activity.
• Manage responsibly all sales activity within assigned Salesforce account by recording customer and prospect information with detail and monitoring proposals.
• Follow up on all pending proposals to explain scope, answer questions, and move opportunities forward.
• Understand pricing approach to inspection sales and contractual terms; familiarity with ITM agreements.
• Represent the organization at industry meetings and remain aware of market opportunities through calls and networking.
• Assist Service Manager with potential re-signs of existing customers.
• Continue to advance industry knowledge through training and mentoring.
• Work with Branch Manager, Regional Sales Manager, and Service Manager to assess relationships and profitability.
