Job summary

SEVO Industrial Fire Protection is seeking a motivated Low-Voltage Field Technician to join our nationwide team. You will perform hands-on installation of fire and life safety systems, pulling and terminating wiring, installing conduit and panels, and supporting testing and commissioning at customer sites.

You’ll need basic plans literacy, tool proficiency, and a safety-minded approach. Travel up to 90% regionally and nationwide is expected as you grow with our certification-focused training.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of hands-on field experience in low-voltage, electrical, cabling, or related work.
• Experience pulling, routing, and terminating wire or cable.
• Ability to read and understand basic plans and wiring diagrams.
• Willingness to learn fire alarm, detection, and special-hazards systems.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Pull, route, label, and terminate low-voltage wiring for fire alarm and related systems.
• Install conduit, cable supports, and control panels.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of fire safety systems at customer sites nationwide.
• Read electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and installation instructions.
• Safely use hand and power tools on job sites.
• Support startup, testing, and inspections with senior technicians.
• Complete field reports and documentation accurately and on time.
