Job summary

SEVO Industrial Fire Protection is hiring Field Technicians across multiple experience levels to install, inspect, test, commission, and service fire alarm and life-safety systems at customer sites nationwide. Role offers advancement based on certifications, experience, and demonstrated ability.

Candidates should be comfortable with low-voltage work, electrical tasks, and field service in diverse environments; NICET certification is preferred but not required. Travel up to 90% may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in fire alarm, low-voltage, electrical, fire protection, or related field work. Open to range of experience levels.
• Mechanical and technical aptitude with ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and field equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, wiring diagrams, or related documentation.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, commission, inspect, maintain, and service fire alarm, detection, and special-hazards systems at customer sites.
• Perform conduit, wiring, installation activities for detection devices, control panels, and related components.
• Read and interpret plans, electrical drawings, schematics, P&IDs, and project specifications.
