Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group is seeking a Fire/Life Safety Summer Intern to support engineering teams in designing and documenting building systems. You will work on AutoCAD and Revit drawings, assist with calculations, and participate in site visits and education sessions.

The internship emphasizes hands-on learning through our EDT program, lunch-and-learn sessions, and collaboration within a supportive team environment in New York.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with emphasis in Sustainability.
• Must be at least a second-year student.
• Previous internship or co-op experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare AutoCAD and Revit drawings from field surveys and system assessments.
• Assist engineers with design calculations and sizing building systems.
• Assist engineers with field investigations and construction site visits.
