SOCOTEC’s Fire & Life Safety internship offers hands-on experience with a team that protects occupants and ensures compliance with building and fire codes. You will collaborate with experienced engineers and consultants on real-world projects involving fire protection systems and life safety design.

The internship provides exposure to code research, building plans, site visits, and technical reporting, helping you develop your technical, analytical, and communication skills for a career in fire

Competenze

• Currently pursuing a degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering or a related field.
• Interest in fire protection, building safety, engineering, architecture, or the design and construction of buildings.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Mansioni

• Assist with building and fire code research and consultation.
• Support Fire Protection Engineers and Life Safety Consultants with project assignments.
• Assist with reviewing building plans and drawings.
• Learn how fire and life safety requirements are incorporated into building designs.
• Gain exposure to fire protection engineering and fire protection systems.
• Participate in building and construction site visits, inspections, and field observations.
