Job summary

YDU JC Air Cond & Ref Inc.- Dubai is looking for a qualified individual to assist in the installation of electronic systems in Florida. Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience in Fire Alarm and/or Security Systems and be able to perform physical labor.

The hourly rate ranges from $18 to $25, and the position includes a competitive benefits package. Ideal candidates will possess strong organizational skills and a positive attitude.

Job description

Responsibilities

Assists the responsible person in performing the required duties for completion of installation‑related tasks for electronic product lines and standard electronic systems. Observes the actions of the responsible persons and applies as directed.

• Helping with installation of electronic systems, including start‑up through final testing.
• Follow verbal and written instructions; read and understand complex construction blueprints, diagrams, and specifications used in installation activities.
• Carry/move equipment and tools weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 40 feet or more.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area; pick up and properly dispose of all trash associated with SimplexGrinnell work.
• Wear appropriate safety equipment as required, including hard hats and work boots.
• May be required to work alternate shifts or weekends to meet customer installation requirements.
• Perform other duties as requested.
• Daily submission of required paperwork.

Qualifications

Required:

• 1 year of Fire Alarm and/or Security System experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Construction experience required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Successful completion of drug screen and background check.
• Capability to perform physical labor including carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50–70lbs.
• Ability to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, high lift equipment up to 40feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
• Demonstration of a high level of customer service.
• Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and ability to learn quickly.

Preferred:

• Experience in an electrical trade.
• Low voltage experience is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly range: $18–$25. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
