Qualifications

• Fire Inspector certification must be obtained within 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Conducts fire and life safety inspections and follow-up inspections for hazards and compliance.
• Performs duties per Yuma Fire Department policies; varies by assignment.
• Attends pre-development meetings; conducts plan reviews and site inspections.
