Responsibilities:

• Respond to all emergencies in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Operate various emergency equipment required by the Scope of Practice.
• Inspect all emergency equipment, apparatuses, and personal protective equipment in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and manufacturers' recommendations.
• Conduct inspections of fire extinguishers, fire hydrants, and associated fire protection systems as per organizational policies and procedures.
• Assist with Public Fire Prevention and Education Programs, including fire extinguisher training and fire drills.
• Participate in required training programs to meet certification standards, including specialized training for new equipment.
• Maintain all professional certifications.

Outcomes:

• Complete all reports, documents, and records following organizational policies and procedures.
• Plan, respond, mitigate, and recover from various emergency situations as outlined by the Scope of Services.
• Inspect, maintain, and operate emergency equipment according to organizational policies, procedures, and manufacturer recommendations.
• Demonstrate professional conduct at all times.

Required Skills/Certifications:

Skills/Certifications required within the first 120 days of hire:
