Century Fire Protection is seeking a Fire Protection Technician to inspect, test, and service fire extinguishers. The role involves dismantling units, inspecting components, hydrostatic testing, and recharging with appropriate agents while following safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include equipment installation and supporting sales efforts. A high school diploma or GED is required, with 1–3 years of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 years related experience or training preferred.
• Dismantle extinguishers and inspect tubing, horns, gaskets and other parts for defects.
• Ability to perform tests and maintenance in accordance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Recharge extinguishers with various agents as needed.
• Install cabinets and brackets to hold extinguishers.
• Support sales activities related to fire extinguishers.

Dismantle extinguishers and examine mechanical parts, extinguishing agents, and expelling means; replaces worn or damaged parts.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
