Job summary

Century Fire Protection is seeking experienced technicians in Duluth, GA to inspect, service and upgrade fire protection and special hazards systems. You will perform programming, start-up and commissioning, plus testing and repair work on Fire Alarm & Special Hazards Systems.

Candidates should read and interpret NFPA codes and building plans, prepare material lists, coordinate with electricians and project managers, and supervise helpers as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and two years of experience required.
• NICET certification; valid Driver's License and clean MVR.
• Knowledge of NFPA codes (NFPA 70, 72, 2001, etc.) and building/fire codes.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, repair and upgrade fire protection and engineered special hazards systems.
• Program, startup and commissioning of Fire Alarm & Special Hazards Systems.
• Inspect and test Fire Alarm & Special Hazards Systems; troubleshoot and repair.
• Complete inspection reports and service work orders; read and interpret construction docs.

Div.29 Duluth, GASummaryPerform inspections, service, repairs and upgrades of clean agent fire suppression and other engineered special hazards fire suppression and detection systems. Perform initial acceptance testing, programming and testing of newly installed systems.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
