Fire Fighter Sales and Service Co. in Warrendale, PA is seeking a Fire Extinguisher Service Technician to service and sell life-safety equipment at customer sites.

You will inspect, recharge, and test extinguishers, emergency lighting, and kitchen suppression systems, while providing training and clear service details to customers. The role requires a high school diploma, valid license, ability to lift 75+ pounds, and willingness to travel with company vehicles.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record over the past 3 years.
  • Ability to lift 75+ pounds safely and repeatedly.
  • Capable of standing and walking for up to 8 hours per shift.
  • Comfort with ladders and working at elevated heights.

Responsibilities

  • Service, test, recharge, and inspect firefighting equipment to ensure functionality and compliance.
  • Operate, test, recharge, and inspect equipment and life-safety systems at customer sites.
  • Prepare and review invoices; provide clear recommendations and service details.
  • Deliver fire extinguisher training and safety education to customers.
  • Participate in planned meetings and maintain driver records and vehicle readiness.

Job Summary: The Fire Extinguisher Service Technician is responsible for the service and sales of fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, fire hoses, kitchen fire systems, and any related Life Safety items deemed applicable. The technician acts as a liaison between the customers and the company by providing exceptional customer service. This position interfaces with customers, our customer service department, and shop technicians with the department manager’s direction.Earn up to $20/hr. depending on experience and qualifications.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The following list is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employees in this classification.
