Job summary

Osceola County Sheriff's Office - Sheriff Christopher A. Blackmon is seeking a logistics support technician to assist fire stations, HQ, and EMS through routine warehouse and supply tasks.

Under supervision, you will manage inventory, restock, run pickups/deliveries, and maintain records while supporting the Logistics Manager and ensuring NFPA and Florida requirements are met. The role requires a High School diploma, 3 years of warehouse experience, and a Florida Paramedic certification.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: 3+ years in warehouse/logistics or fire station logistics oversight.
• Certification: Valid Florida Paramedic Certification.
• Miscellaneous: Valid Florida driver's license and ability to obtain CDL Class A within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Support on-call activities as directed to meet operational goals.
• Deliver department correspondence between headquarters and stations.
• Assist inventory control and distribution of PPE and supplies.
• Retrieve EMS equipment from hospitals and deliver to stations.
• Perform routine data entry, filing, and SharePoint updates.
• Assist with specialized projects and vendor coordination.
• Receive, sort, and distribute mail.
• Assist other Logistics Technicians with loading, unloading, and restocking.
