Job summary

Osceola County Government is seeking a Logistics Technician to provide routine operational support to fire stations, HQ, and EMS departments. You will help manage inventory, deliveries, and reporting while ensuring safety and compliance in a dynamic county environment.

The role requires three years in logistics, a Florida Paramedic Certification, and a valid FL driver’s license with the ability to obtain a Class A CDL within one year. Strong organizational skills and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Three years of warehouse/logistics experience or equivalent fire station logistics oversight.
• Valid State of Florida Paramedic Certification is required.
• Must have and maintain a valid Florida Driver's License and be able to obtain a Florida Class A CDL with N endorsement within one year.

Responsibilities

• Support on-call situations to meet operational goals.
• Deliver department correspondence to Fire Rescue HQ, stations, and other county departments.
• Assist in inventory control and distribution of PPE, rehab supplies, equipment, and EMS supplies.
• Retrieve EMS equipment from hospitals and deliver to fire stations.
• Perform data entry, filing, report processing, and SharePoint/ inventory updates as directed.
• Assist with specialized projects and problem resolution.
• Assist EMS Logistics Technician with movement or pickup of standby equipment to improve efficiency.
• Attend meetings and trainings as directed by the Logistics Manager.
