Qualifications

• Knowledge of payroll, timekeeping, policies, and labor law basics.

Responsibilities

• Provides HR support for the Fire-EMS Department in coordination with County HR.
• Oversees recruitment, onboarding, payroll/timekeeping, and employee relations.
• Supervises HR staff and manages the Volunteer Membership Program within Fire-EMS.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and policies.
• Collaborates with leadership to address HR issues and investigations as needed.
