Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a Fire & Emergency Services Program Manager to join our client team in Washington state. The role focuses on aligning DAF policy, HQ priorities, and installation-level execution to maintain operational readiness.

The candidate will represent the USSF on the DAF Fire Tier IV panel, defend firefighter sufficiency levels per NDAA, and collaborate with DAF, AFCEC, and mission partners. A TS clearance and extensive F&ES leadership background are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and 10+ years in Fire & Emergency Services.
• Knowledge of DAF fire protection standards and NDAA mandates.
• Experience developing and defending resourcing in a POM.
• Strong enterprise coordination with DAF, AFCEC, installations.
• Ability to evaluate emergency response capability and mission risk.
• Must be eligible for Top Secret clearance and proficient in English.
• Background check, driving record, and drug screening required.
• U.S. work authorization; sponsorship not available.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years’ experience of Fire and Emergency Services (F&ES) expertise. Former Air Force Fire Chief or senior F&ES leader with headquarters level experience.
• DAF Policy & Compliance Knowledge — Understanding of DAF fire protection standards, NDAA mandates, and enterprise governance
• Program Objective Memorandum (POM) Experience — Ability to develop, justify, and defend resourcing requirements.
• Enterprise Coordination Skills — Skilled at working with DAF, AFCEC, installations, and mission partners.
• Operational Readiness Assessment — Ability to evaluate emergency response capability and mission risk.
• This position is subject to Top Secret Clearance
• Must be proficient in English, both written and verbal, to ensure effective communication and collaboration
