M.C. Dean is hiring a Fire Protection Service Manager for the Federal Market to lead and oversee fire protection service operations across federal accounts. You will manage ITM programs for fire alarms and sprinklers, develop estimates, and support bidding while ensuring compliance with NFPA standards and federal requirements.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing fire protection service operations
  • Experience supporting federal customers or federal service contracts

  • Knowledge of applicable NFPA standards (including NFPA 72 and NFPA 25)
  • Experience with estimating, bidding, or pricing service-related work
  • Requires a Valid driver’s license and may require use of a company vehicle

  • Ability to meet federal background, clearance, and site access requirements

Responsibilities

  • Lead fire protection service operations for federal government customers
  • Oversee inspection, testing, maintenance, and service activities for fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems
  • Ensure compliance with federal contract requirements, NFPA standards, and customer procedures
  • Manage service managers, coordinators, technicians, and support staff assigned to federal accounts
  • Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet contract performance

  • Support audits, inspections, and reviews by federal agencies or AHJs
  • Coordinate corrective actions and follow-up work

The Fire Protection Service Manager - Federal Market is responsible for leading and overseeing fire protection service operations for federal customers. This role manages inspection, testing, maintenance (ITM), service, and repair activities for fire alarm, fire sprinkler, and related life safety systems while supporting site surveys, estimating, and bidding efforts. The position ensures strict compliance with federal contract requirements, applicable codes, and company standards and requires strong operational leadership in compliance-driven federal environments.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee inspection, testing, maintenance, and service activities for fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems
  • Ensure compliance with federal contract requirements, NFPA standards, and customer-specific procedures
  • Manage service managers, coordinators, technicians, and support staff assigned to federal accounts
  • Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet contract performance requirements
  • Conduct site surveys and system assessments to support service execution, repairs, and project opportunities
  • Develop service-related estimates, budgets, and pricing for repairs, upgrades, and contract modifications
  • Support bidding efforts for federal ITM contracts, task orders, and service-related projects
  • Collaborate with account managers and sales teams on proposal development and technical input
  • Monitor service performance, KPIs, and contract deliverables
  • Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and record retention in accordance with federal standards
  • Support audits, inspections, and reviews conducted by federal agencies or AHJs
  • Coordinate corrective actions, deficiency resolution, and follow‑up work
  • Support contract modifications, change orders, and scope management
