911 Emergency Communications is seeking Fire Dispatchers to coordinate responses from Crater Lake area. You will receive incident reports, verify locations, alert units, and monitor radio traffic to ensure safe, timely responses.

Responsibilities include documenting events, coordinating mutual aid, and maintaining up-to-date incident details per established plans. Entry-level to experienced candidates encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• This role requires clear radio communication and organized information handling.
• Applicants should be comfortable with computer systems and accurate data entry.
• Experience with maps and incident reporting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive and document reports of fires, rescues, alarms, and hazardous conditions.
• Verify incident locations and reported risks; alert stations and dispatch units.
• Monitor radio channels and unit availability; relay changing conditions and updates.
• Process requests for additional resources through established procedures.
• Coordinate mutual-aid communications during major incidents.
• Record dispatch times, unit movements, and significant incident updates.
