Job summary

PENN Entertainment is hiring a Security Officer to perform safety inspections, monitor life safety systems, control access to secure areas, and maintain detailed logs. The role supports gaming compliance and safety protocols while ensuring a calm presence during emergencies.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, strong English communication, dependability, and the ability to interpret instructions and respond quickly to incidents.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Experience with life-safety monitoring is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Makes daily and weekly inspections of safety conditions and notifies departments for corrective action.
• Monitor life safety equipment in the Fire Command Center and ensure readiness.
• Control access to back of house areas and issue temporary credentials as needed.
• Record logs of alarms, abatement actions, and safety incidents.
• Support PGCB mandated gaming-related checks and reconciliations.
• Assist as a Security Officer when necessary.
