Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking a Security Officer to help maintain safe and welcoming guest experiences. You will perform daily and weekly safety inspections, monitor life safety systems, control access to back-of-house areas, and assist as needed in emergency situations.

The role requires strong judgment, clear English communication, and the ability to follow procedures for gaming-related safety and compliance; a high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to monitor life safety systems and respond to emergencies.
• Must read, understand, and follow procedures and memos.
• Must communicate clearly in English with guests and staff.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to obtain required licenses.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and weekly inspections of safety conditions and notify departments to correct issues.
• Monitor life safety equipment and ensure proper functioning (smoke detectors, extinguishers).
• Control access to back-of-house areas; issue temporary credentials to vendors/visitors as needed.
• Document alarms, hazards, and abatement actions; maintain logs.
