Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must qualify for PA State Racing Commission license and meet PA Gaming Control Board requirements.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with customers and employees.
• Thorough understanding of basic fire fighting techniques (fire extinguisher).
• Ability to remain calm and professional during fire emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and weekly safety inspections and notify departments to ensure profitability, guest satisfaction, workforce strength, and compliance.
• Inspect equipment such as smoke detectors and fire extinguishers to ensure proper function.
• Monitor main employee entrance and ensure only authorized individuals access back-of-house areas.
• Issue temporary access credentials to vendors and visitors as needed.
• Identify and report hazards or irregularities; maintain daily logs of alarms and hazards.
• Maintain key management logs and perform duties to comply with PGCB requirements (gaming-related tasks, card/dice reconciliation).
• Assist as a Security Officer when needed.
