Job summary

Fortis Fire & Safety's National Accounts team seeks skilled Fire Alarm Technicians to install, inspect, test, troubleshoot, and service fire alarm and life safety systems on a high-profile, large-scale program in Florida. This is a rare opportunity to contribute to a major, national client and demonstrate your expertise on demanding projects.

Due to scale and timeline, mobilization quickly is preferred. Travel within Florida may be required; expect extended hours and strict adherence to NFPA 72

Qualifications

• Not an entry-level role; hands-on fire alarm experience required.
• Knowledge of NFPA 72 and Florida fire life safety codes.
• Experience with major fire alarm platforms and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, inspect, test, and maintain fire alarm systems.
• Troubleshoot deficiencies and document results accurately.
• Read blueprints and coordinate with project teams.
• Travel to job sites within assigned service areas as needed.
