Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
• Must obtain DPS fingerprint clearance prior to employment.
• Capable of physical labor and lifting up to 70 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and maintain smoke and heat detectors, pull stations, horns, strobes, and notification devices.
• Test fire alarm control panels and monitoring equipment for proper operation.
• Identify faults and coordinate repairs or replacements with customers.
• Troubleshoot life-safety systems and document findings clearly.
• Complete service reports promptly and communicate conditions to management.
• Ensure work complies with applicable codes and manufacturer requirements.
