Convergint is seeking a full-time Fire Alarm Technician to join our team in Westerville, OH. You will install, program, start-up, test, and commission fire alarm and life-safety systems on diverse projects, while providing on-site customer training and thorough documentation.

You thrive in a fast-paced, service-oriented culture, possess NICET II and a valid electrical license, and are willing to travel locally.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; NICET II preferred or pursued.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record; local/state electrical license may be required.
• Willingness to travel to job sites; strong interpersonal skills and safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, and start-up fire alarm and life-safety systems.
• Provide customer training and complete documentation on projects.
• Coordinate with project managers and engineers; mentor junior colleagues.
• Ensure compliance with codes and standards; troubleshoot field issues.
