Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Fire Alarm Technician in Westerville, OH to install, program, start-up and commission fire alarm and life-safety systems. You will perform testing, documentation, and customer training on projects, with opportunities to grow within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Experience with fire alarm systems and electronics.
• NICET Level II certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally.
• Local/state electrical licensing as required.
• Willingness to mentor less experienced colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test and commission fire alarm systems on assigned projects.
• Provide customer training and prepare documentation.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and Engineering to meet codes and standards.
• Mentor junior technicians and share knowledge.
• Support sales/tech initiatives and ensure customer satisfaction.
