Convergint is hiring a Fire Alarm Technician in Ohio to install, program, start-up, test, and commission fire alarm systems on assigned projects. You will train customers, document procedures, and ensure quality throughout the life of the project.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service mindset and ability under pressure.
• Willing to learn fire alarm systems and related electronics.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, startup and commission fire alarm systems on projects.
• Provide customer training and complete documentation.
• Interpret schematics and wiring diagrams, troubleshoot equipment.
• Ensure compliance with codes and standards; participate in project coordination.
• Coach less experienced colleagues and support project managers.
