Job summary

Moore Security Solutions, LLC is seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician - Level II to support installation, programming, inspection, and servicing of commercial fire alarm systems in the Houston area. The role requires strong field experience, independent work, and adherence to code compliance and client expectations.

Qualifications include 3+ years with commercial fire alarm systems, NFPA 72 knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints. NICET II certification and Texas FAL are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with commercial fire alarm systems.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 72 codes and system operations.
• Experience with installation, troubleshooting, and inspections.
• Ability to read construction drawings and technical documents.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, and service commercial fire alarm systems.
• Perform inspections per NFPA 72 and AHJ requirements.
• Troubleshoot devices, panels, and communication pathways.
• Assist with startups, commissioning, and acceptance testing.
• Read blueprints, riser diagrams, and wiring schematics.
• Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, and contractors.
• Maintain documentation including inspection reports and service tickets.
• Ensure compliance with fire codes and safety standards.
• Train and support junior technicians when needed.
