Total Fire Protection is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Technician to install, service, inspect, test and troubleshoot commercial fire alarm systems across the Greater Philadelphia area and surrounding markets.

You'll work with senior technicians, read drawings, install devices, and perform testing, commissioning, and inspections while pursuing NICET certification and expanding your skills toward leadership and advanced fire alarm work. Valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of fire alarm experience
• Reading fire alarm drawings and wiring diagrams
• Installing and terminating initiating and notification devices
• SLC and NAC wiring
• Fire alarm control panels and remote power supplies
• Troubleshooting basic system conditions
• Testing and inspection
• Sprinkler/fire alarm interfaces
• Documenting completed work professionally

Responsibilities

• Install, service, inspect, test and troubleshoot commercial fire alarm systems.
• Read drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Install and terminate initiating and notification devices.
• Wire SLC and NAC circuits.
• Work with fire alarm control panels and remote power supplies.
