Job summary

Total Fire Protection in the Greater Philadelphia area is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Technician to advance in the fire alarm industry. You will perform installation, service, inspection, testing and troubleshooting on commercial systems, working with lead technicians and building a long-term career.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of fire alarm experience.
• A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• NICET certification preferred but not required for the right candidate.
• Experience with Fire-Lite, Silent Knight, NOTIFIER, Potter, Edwards/EST, Gamewell-FCI, Siemens, Simplex or similar platforms.
• Strong fundamentals and the ability to learn.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, inspect and troubleshoot commercial fire alarm systems.
• Perform panel replacements and system upgrades.
• Install devices and wire SLC/NAC circuits.
• Conduct testing and commissioning of fire alarm systems.
• Document completed work professionally and accurately.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting.
