Base pay range

$25.00/hr - $45.00/hr

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. The primary purpose of this role is to install, inspect, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install fire alarm systems in new and existing buildings
  • Perform routine inspections and testing of fire alarm systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot fire alarm system issues
  • Conduct maintenance and repairs on fire alarm equipment
  • Ensure all work complies with NFPA codes and regulations
  • Collaborate with clients to ensure their fire safety needs are met
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and installations
  • Stay updated on industry standards and new technologies related to fire alarms

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
  • Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Technician or similar role
  • Knowledge of fire alarm systems and NFPA codes
  • NICET certification is a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
