A leading company is seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician/Electrician to handle installation, inspection, and maintenance of fire alarm systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical systems, strong safety knowledge, and the ability to interpret blueprints. We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician/Electrician to install, inspect, test, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems and related electrical components. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of fire safety codes, electrical systems, and low-voltage wiring as well as the ability to interpret blueprints, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain commercial electrical systems.
Read and follow blueprints and electrical schematics.
Install and program fire alarm systems and related equipment
Perform routine inspections, testing, and maintenance in accordance with NFPA and local codes
Troubleshoot and repair system faults or wiring issues
Read and interpret electrical and system diagrams
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or apprenticeship preferred.
5 + years of commercial electrical experience.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safety protocols.
Able to work at heights and in various environments.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Pay Rate: $25.00/hr. - $32.00/hr.
