Job summary

TEKsystems in Stuart, FL is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Technician for a contract-to-hire role. You will install, test, inspect, and maintain fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA codes, diagnose issues, and perform repairs.

You'll configure control panels, collaborate with clients, and respond to service calls with a focus on safety and compliance. Ideal candidates have 3-5 years of hands-on fire alarm experience, strong knowledge of NFPA standards, and the ability to read

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Experience with a variety of fire alarm systems, including addressable, conventional, and voice evacuation systems.
• Familiarity with testing and diagnostic equipment used in the fire alarm industry.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve complex problems.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid Florida driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stuart, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
