Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Fire Alarm Systems Service Technician to service commercial fire alarm systems in the greater Philadelphia area, based at our Harleysville, PA location. You will inspect, test, and maintain systems under maintenance agreements and mentor junior technicians to promote growth.

Requirements include NICET Fire Alarm Certification Level 1 within 12 months, ability to read construction documents, and a valid US driver's license.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in installation/maintenance of commercial fire alarm systems (Mid).
• 3+ years of experience in installation/maintenance of commercial fire alarm systems (Senior).
• Must obtain NICET Fire Alarm Certification Level 1 within 12 months.
• Able to read and understand design and construction documents.
• 18+ years old with a valid driver’s license and compliant with fleet program rules.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Execute testing and inspections for systems under maintenance.
• Create test and inspection reports based on code requirements.
• Respond to, troubleshoot, and complete repairs to maintain system function.
• Identify code and non-conformance issues and ensure standards.
• Quote small repair jobs with parts and labor details for estimators.
• Plan tasks with Lead Technicians and Supervisors to optimize work.
